Prayer Tree

This is a very special tree where you can come and pray,

and leave your prayers on the branches, and on Him your burdens lay.

Your hopes, your fears, your prayers for loved ones too,

We will take your prayers and pray a prayer for you.

‘Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present

 your requests to God. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and

 your minds in Christ Jesus.’

        Philippians 4 v 6-7

We have planted a 60 year old Olive Tree in the grounds of the Church, just off the Car Park Area.

Everyone is welcome to come and use the tree for prayer – for themselves, family, friends or for particular needs.

There is card, pens and plastic wallets available next to the tree in a little house to write your prayer requests on and then hang them on the tree.

Emmanuel Church will then collect the prayers and commit to praying for each one for a month.
